The position

We are looking for an organizationally strong all-rounder who thrives on variety! A strong controller with an affinity for operations will support our team with daily financial and operational tasks. This is an executive, support role with plenty of variety, where you'll directly contribute to smartQare's growth.

What will you be doing?


Finance

  • Processing purchase invoices and daily financial administration (bank, cash, general ledger).
  • Supporting accounts receivable and payable management.
  • Participating in month-end closing (checks and reconciliations).
  • Preparing basic financial statements (revenue, inventory, open items).
  • Maintaining liquidity statements and cash flow forecasts.
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns.
  • Providing documentation for year-end closing and audits.


Operations

  • Ondersteunen bij het opstellen en bijhouden van verkoopprognoses (rolling forecast) samen met Sales.
  • Afstemmen met fabrikanten op basis van forecasts en inkooporders.
  • Verwerken van verkooporders.
  • Registratie in AFAS ERP.
  • Plannen van uitleveringen en logistiek.
  • Ondersteunen bij het plannen van trainingen.
  • Contact onderhouden met logistieke partners.
  • Opstellen en verwerken van verkoopfacturen, correcties en creditnota’s in AFAS.
  • Beheren en bewaken van inkooporders.
  • Administratief voorraadbeheer: verwerken van voorraadmutaties en ondersteunen bij inventarisaties.


Who we are looking for?

  • You have experience in an operational and/or financial support role.
  • Experience with logistics processes or supply chain is a plus.
  • You have worked with AFAS or a similar ERP system.
  • Basic knowledge of finance, such as cash flow and VAT returns.
  • Experience in the medical or regulated sector is a plus.
  • You are accurate, practical, and solution-oriented.
  • You thrive in a scale-up environment where flexibility is key.

  • Eindhoven is the primary work location; in addition, one day per week is worked from Noordwijk.
